I have a vintage rain lamp that was in very bad shape. Liam did an amazing restoration on the lamp for me. Despite these lamps being very complicated and difficult to work on, the results are amazing and the cost was very reasonable. I’m so pleased with the whole experience!!!Posted on Google![]()

I stopped in today, broken lamp in hand, after years of driving by nd admiring their lighting display in North Winton Village. Brian and Liam, father and son repair gurus, were honest and informed about the problems with my lamp. They have a great supply of lamp shades, a wide range of vintage and antique lamps for all tastes and decors. And they may even sell parts. They have quite the collection of lamps and lamp parts. I highly recommend them and I cannot express in words how down-to-earth, approachable, kind and helpful they are. Shop local! Shop small business and see what Lamp Repair has to offer you and your home. My only regret is waiting so long to stop in.Posted on Google![]()

We took these gentlemen (Brian and Liam) a repro of the same lamp that was in that famous old photo of a young Steve Jobs sitting on a bare floor sipping tea. Our problem was that we'd had our lamp for twenty-five years and it was wearing out -- to the point of suddenly not working. Plus the only on/off switch was on the floor cord! Lamp Repair not only replaced the faulty main switch on the floor cord but also, at our request, added six individual pull-strings, one for each of the six light bulbs located under the lampshade. Our old repro is suddenly so much better than it ever was, and we're thrilled. I myself now smile every time I look at it cuz I love it. As the other reviews say, Lamp Repair has great customer service, fair pricing, and does great work. At first, walking into their shop is a bit reminiscent of walking into an old shoe repair or tinkerer shop like you might have found in Pittsford or Fairport thirty, forty, or more years ago. However, it becomes pretty clear very quickly that these gentlemen know their stuff and have a lot of experience.Posted on Google![]()
